July Horror Club ends and we Move to August!!

Ok, so our 1st meeting gets off to an AMAZING start. If you missed this 1st event, don't fret...we got more coming for you! Our next scheduled meeting is Thursday, August 25th at 7pm at Capes and Cowls Collectibles in Bensalem, PA. 

What are we showing?? Who will be there?? I am working on something very special...this event could make August even HOTTER!!! So, stay tuned...details will be up very shortly.

The Original vs. The Remake

Think of the original film, then think of the the remake...example - John Carpenter and Debra Hill's Halloween vs. The Rob Zombie remake of Halloween - What did you like, what did you hate..what was better? Why? Get your best list of remakes together..the originals you loved and the remakes you hated!!!

The Wrong House comes to the PA/NJ Horror Club 101

We are extremely honored to be able to screen The Wrong House at our 1st group session. Shawn French and Sue Stevens were kind enough to allow us to watch their film, which just recieved distribution. We were also told, we will have give-a-aways!!! What?? Yep, you heard me....Give-a-ways!!!

The Wrong House synopsis - An isolated house in the woods looks like an easy mark to a group of friends camping in the Maine wilderness. The thieves haul away several ounces of pot and hallucinogenic mushrooms in the heist. But when the homeowners track them down, the thieves learn too late that there are some people you just shouldn't mess with... and that they picked The Wrong House.

Remember, this is a FREE event, on Thursday, July 21, 2011 at 7pm. Our group will meet at Capes and Cowls Comics in Bensalem, PA. This is FREE...like horror? come join the fun.

We will also be discussing the films Dead Snow (2009) and Shock Waves (1977). One is a cult classic, the other takes the Nazi Zombie genre in a whole other direction. We wanna know what you like about each and what you dont...so let's tawk horror.
