Big Weekend for the Late Night crew - Chainsaw Crazed Babe on the set!

Late Night at the Horror Hotel gets "Chainsaw Sally CRAZY!!!"

Easily, the blueprint for Independent success, with the most notorious, popular Horror show on the Internet, Chainsaw Sally comes to the Late Night set this Saturday for our special "Season's Beating's" holiday show.

April Monique Burril, aka.Chainsaw Sally, along with Independent Writer and Director (Chainsaw Sally, the Good Sisters and Silver Scream) JimmyO Burril plus a few surprises are doing us a great favor by appearing on our show. This show, unlike the rest will be available on the net once completed. We may also make this show available for download, plus the feature film we are showing is JimmyO's musical "Silver Scream".

Rob Dimension had this to say "Usually our show is more of a PG type show, but this one....gonna be a little more gritty." John Cannon added, "There is a good chance many of our TV stations will not carry this one....It might be an example of our growth or an example of our demise." Sounds like a blast to me, we can't wait to see the final product.

This is a great opportunity for the producers, Sickening Thud to show their talents also. Pigamortis Wrex was quick to speak, "Look, we are here to entertain....We are hoping to introduce special new character as well, we are really starting to hit our stride. The show is growing, the site is growing and we are expanding...it's gonna be a great ride!"

This weekend, you can also catch the Dynamic Trio in Saylorsburg, PA at the Hotel of Horror/Altered Nightmares, they will be out front, most likely Heckling people before and after they go into, what we feel, one of the best attractions in our Area. Visit www.hotelofhorror.com for details and directions.

Late Night at the Horror Hotel reaches deal with Sickening Thud Films!!

Sickening Thud Productions takes over Late Night at the Horror Hotel

A few weeks ago, we were fortunate enough to be approached by Wedge Wegman and Shannon Hall, the Philadelphia film makers thoroughly enjoyed the show and a relationship was born.

As of Today, Sickening Thud Productions will be handling all production and directing of our TV show and commercial spots. This is a great chance for us to utilize their experience in helping the show evolve even more. The energy level of the Sickening Thud crew is fantastic and we could not be happier. Our next television episode shoot is scheduled for this coming Sunday. Looking for some innovative changes...... we can't wait.

Sickening Thud :

Sickening Thud began in 2008 with the award winning short "DAISY DERKINS: DOGSITTER OF THE DAMNED".  They've gone on to produce several deliciously comedic horror films, and have just finished their latest dark comedy, "EMBALMO!", which will premiere at the Project Twenty1 Film Festival on October 3, 2010.  Aside from the macabre, Sickening Thud will begin to dabble in the science fiction realm next year by introducing a superhero web series.  Our mantra: "GIVING THE PHILADELPHIA FILM SCENE A PUNK ROCK STYLE KICK IN THE BALLS!!"

Looks like business is about to pick up!!!!

Local Philadelphia Film Maker says - "Camp + Horror = WIN"

Late Night at the Horror Hotel makes a Sickening Thud
by Rob Dimension

A few months ago, through some mutual friends, I was "wised up" to a local Philadelphia film making crew that was making some waves amongst the Underground. With titles like:

"DAISY DERKINS, DOGSITTER OF THE DAMNED!"
"EVIL BREW"
"Battle Nun: Key To Heaven"
"THE HALF-LIFE HORROR FROM HELL or IRRADIATED SATAN ROCKS THE WORLD!"
"UNWINDING"
"EMBALMO!"

I had a feeling I was gonna like these guys. I hooked up with Wedge Wegman and her crew through emails and saw her last week at Monster Mania. She is a Punk Rocker, with a no nonsense attitude, plus she knows what vision she has in front of her and I think we were instant BFF's...okay maybe not...hahaha.

Their latest film, EMBALMO!, will be screened at the Project Twenty1 film festival during the weekend of October 1-3, 2010 and we are wishing them the BEST of luck. Okay, so enough of my babbling on...here is what she sent me today:

There is little else in the world that goes as well together as campy horror and sketch comedy, a fact that is proven once again by John Cannon, Rob Dimension, and Pigamortis on the Late Night Horror Hotel. Just after I was introduced to Dimension, he sent me two episodes of this mysterious show I'd never seen. With great trepidation, I put on an episode one night. And I was HOOKED! After greedily watching the second episode on the disk I found myself wanting more.

Dimension and Cannon play off each other quite well during the breaks in the films. Where some horror shows cut into the film at inappropriate times, these two seem to interject their dorky/ditzy humour at just the right moment. PLUS, they pull out the prop gags, something that I absolutely adore. (Cheese-STAKE, anyone??!? PRICELESS!)

The most impressive thing about the show? The hosts are down-to-earth, approachable guys who TRULY love this genre. This isn't about money or fame, folks. This is DIY fandom at it's best, and the Late Night Horror Hotel delivers a WIN!!
