Rob Dimension announced to appear at Monster-Mania in Baltimore!
On Saturday, August June 4th, Rob Dimension was announced as a guest for the extremely popular Horror Convention, Monster-Mania in Baltimore. For all those expecting a major guest announcement, we apologize for the disappointment. Many even say "Who the hell is that?"
Rob Dimension who has over 10 years of being involved in Pro Wrestling as a manager, noteably as Steve Corino's sidekick in recent years, plus co-host of the popular Horror Hosting show, Late Night at the Horror Hotel and recently finished filming his co-staring role on the Horror/Comedy film, Demon Hunters, made it a point to say "I always laugh when they announce me as a guest. I can hear the crickets and moans as people see my name." It was also announced that Dimension will have a role in the upcoming season of the popular, Cult favorite, Chainsaw Sally show.
When asked what Dimension will be doing at the con, Dimension said "I will be hosting an event or two, Monster-mania is my home. I have attended since #2 and I am so proud to see them closing in on #20 soon, Dave does a trememndous job and puts on a GREAT convention experience. I will have a table for Saturday and plan on telling very bad jokes, selling inferior products and doing my best to alienate myself from the other guests." Anyone that knows Rob, knows that is probably the truth.

Hey guys, we wanted to give you guys the inside track to everything that is happening here at Late Night at the Horror Hotel. If you notice, we have slowed down a bit, not just on our site but, with even turning out new episodes. Many are wondering…are you guys dead? Where are you? So, let me answer:
Since March of this year (2010), Late Night at the Horror Hotel, an idea that became a TV show, reached into 23 states, showing 11 episodes, countless sketch/skit promos and making plenty of waves at Conventions and more. Quite honestly, we still felt that we are missing the bus…we want more. The question is: How do you reach more?
Sal Valente, the man behind the voice of Pigamortis and I, Rob Dimension wanted to reach a larger audience, plus incorporate more into the show. We are both, in reality, nerds…besides Horror, we like comics, gaming and science fiction. While Horror is our #1 love, we feel that currently there's a lot of talent out there in the Horror Host world and we want expand on that universe . We have decided that we want a 22 minute tv/web series that can bring you into the life of geeks. We just feel it fits us better.
Still sticking with the Horror theme, don’t worry horror fans….We aren’t abandoning you, we created a new show titled “NecroCOMICon”. The series takes place in a comic shop, dealing with normal issues plus of course, the outrageous. Leaving Mooch and Pigamortis in charge of the protection of the Necronomicon sounds like a great idea on paper….but, Jeb and Demonica will have their hands full keeping things safe. You just NEVER know who will be in to buy this week’s newest Comics or try to destroy the Universe.
NecroCOMIContv.com will debut in January and we will be doing reviews of comics and games, plus movies. There is a storyline in each episode, much like Late Night at the Horror Hotel offered, and we will be including some Classic Throwback Tv commercials into every show. Special guests are already in the works and we are hoping you will tune in.
This is all the details I can give right now………..I know, not very much, but we will be targeting Comic cons as well as Horror Cons…sound good? We think so too. In 2010 we put Late Night to bed and in 2011 we awaken NecroCOMICon TV....
So, Dimension yesterday posted this logo on his Facebook yesterday and is staying tight-lipped about what it is. When asked, he had this to say "NecroCOMICon will be revealed more into next week."
Howdy gang - I know, normally you come here and there is a good chunk of reviews here on a daily basis, but things are changing.
Without blowing a bunch of smoke, we are really preparing for the 2nd season of the show...that's the best way to put it. I have also been on set for the new Kevin Kangas film "Garden of Hedon", it's been over night shoots, so my daytime is a little rough.
The Chainsaw Sally episode "Season's Beating's" will be slightly delayed, but never fear...it's on it's way.
Look for some announcements and very interesting news....we are promising a lot more fun for season 2.

Late Night at the Horror Hotel takes a STAB at Viral Video
Well, with the current trend in Hollywood remaking and re-imagining every possible classic or semi hit, under the Sun, we felt it was once right to show our support...or lack thereof, to prove to Hollywood - Enough is Enough.
Being creative, in our own little way, we use Scanners and poke fun at Twilight. We hope you guys enjoy the madness.
So, you see Batman, Superman, Aquaman...hell even the Wonder Twins and that damn dirty ape have spots in the Super Friends, so where's our boys? This is footage from within the Hall of Justice, it shows what phone call Pigamortis and Dimension messed up on...unfortunately, Cannon was guilty by association.
When asked for comments, these are the printable quotes we received:

Episode synopsis - Bela Lugosi stars in this 1942 story about Horror and Dementia...blah, blah....blah...he is a crazy Doctor who brings Virgins back to his Wife, who hasn't? On tonight's show, poor John just cannot catch a break. Watch as Pigamortis convinces Dimension that he can perform the greatest magic trick ever. The Horror Hotel, after this one, will now have a Laundry Room of Resurrection.

A Special Interview with the Creators and Star from Long Pigs!

A while back I came across a film by the name of Long Pigs not to be mixed up with a different film called Long Pig. I had befriended Chris and later Anthony we talked for some time before I actually got a copy of the film. Finally I got a copy and put it in. I fell in love with the film I mean I just dropped dead over how well it was done. So I got to chatting with the guys Director Chris Power and Anthony Alviano (both very great guys) here are some stuff we have chatted about. Sit back have a bowl of stew and read what these guys have to say:
LNHH: The name of your film is called Long Pigs can you tell us a little about that term and how you ended up naming you’re film that?
Chris Power: “Long Pig” is the culinary term for the human corpse, which depending on where you do your research has a couple different origins – but if you were cooking with human you wouldn’t say, “people stew” but rather “long pig stew”. Basically we’re all long pigs!
LNHH: How did you choose your cast? Anthony does an amazing job. He seems like he did not even have to really act; he just had to be himself. How did you ever get someone to play Lucy at that?
CP: Well Nathan and I knew we were writing the movie for Anthony, which was an artistic bonus – so we played to his characteristics. Finding the rest of the (non-union) cast was much more difficult. Elisa Moolecherry did our casting and spent literally months seeing thousands of actors – which is the boring secret to casting I think: You gotta keep seeing people until you find the right actor – don’t just hire your friends.
Anthony Alviano: Chris and Nathan told me they thought of me specifically in the role which was flattering, and I think I understood exactly what they where going for in terms of the character playing with the audience’s idea of reality. I always thought the most interesting thing about the idea was to make it as naturalistic as possible, so I thought I should just play the part like your next-door neighbor. I really did want people to question whether it was fictional movie or a real documentary.
CP: Finding someone to play Lucy (played by Barb Walsh) was a bit of a nightmare due to the demands of the character. Casting came down to two women each amazing in their own way – ultimately our first choice ended up dislocating her knee and Barb stepped in. After she was convinced we weren’t making a porno she was a real trooper.
LNHH: How did you guys meet each other and go from there on this film?
AA: I’ve known Chris (Power) since high school and was in one of his early shorts – later on they were going to do another short when the idea Long Pigs came up.
CP: Anthony was ahead of me in high school so we never really hung out that much, but he was clearly one of the “stars” of our high school drama department, which put on a major show each year. So when we met I was playing four one-minute parts while Anthony was in every scene getting huge laughs. When I ran my very first 16mm film through a bolex, I asked Anthony to appear and of course he did an awesome job.
LNHH: There was a scene in Long Pigs that was a fairly uncomfortable one for Anthony; how did you deal with the scene of Barbara Walsh (Lucy the Prostitute)? I know she had to hang upside down at least three times naked for it.
AA: I was far more concerned with Barb than anything else, A lot of my sweatyness and rapid breathing in that scene comes from me really wanting it to be over with as quickly as possible. It comes off like I’m excited.
CP: Yeah that was not a wonderful shooting experience, but Barb pulled us through and was the hero of that scene for sure. It’s tough asking someone to do something you’d never ever do yourself… like hand upside down bare-ass naked.
LNHH: Anthony being a role of a serial killer did you do any research and was there a specific killer you based McAlistar after?
AA: I did do research on numerous serial killers but the character wasn’t based on any one historical person.
CP: We had a giant binder of research but it certainly wasn’t our “bible” – all proper kudos for the creation of that character goes to Anthony.
LNHH: I know the budget was not all that big but how did you pull it off? The FX were simply amazing.
CP: I tell our sad but epic SFX tale a lot:
SFX part 1: We initially went with a SFX supervisor who was more inexperienced, but assured us he was up to the task of creating our “Lucy body”. After avoiding showing us the results until we were on set, we were horrified to be presented a wrinkled, totally unusable piece that looked more like a giant baked ham – total cost/waste $4000.
SFX part 2: After that fiasco we contacted a prominent female SFX supervisor in the city who took the script and agreed to a scheduled meeting. We showed up early for the meeting in the middle of the afternoon to find their SFX shop completely closed – nobody home - no answer from any phone number. We only found out by chance many months later that the owner of the shop had read the script for Long Pigs and deemed it “so horrible it should never be produced”.
SFX part 3: Finally we found Chris Bridges! (Cue the angel’s chorus!!!) Not only is he the most talented man we’ve ever met in the industry but also he’s also the nicest! Chris and Tony Labatt delivered in spades for this film under the worst physical and financial circumstances. We could speak forever about this genius - who literally saved our film.
LNHH: I do want to talk about the FX on your film for a moment. You had Chris Bridges who has done many big films such as 300, Silent Hill, saw 3 and many other great films, how did you guys get him to agree to Long Pigs?
CP: We begged and cried! Here’s the story from the man himself:
Chris Bridges (special effects): One day Tony came in and mentioned that one of his friends was on a small film and that they were having problems with some effects they had hired out and could we maybe talk with the Directors. We did meet with Chris and Nathan - they even brought us the body the other effects guy made in hopes that maybe it could be salvaged. They made it clear they did not have much money left over from the original build, and I think I felt a little sorry for them, I mean the body they brought in looked like a baked ham. And so Tony and I agreed to help and remake the body - as cheaply as we could. The thing I liked about these guys is they didn’t try to hustle me with promises of getting paid on their next five films or anything. They were desperate and honest.
LNHH: With such a small crew how well did the filming go? Was there any horror story’s per say or did things go smooth during the making?
CP: Oh yeah, it was totally smooth sailing – no bumps at all – every day was like a trip to the beach… and if you believe that I just got an email from a Nigerian Prince who needs your help to clear his trust fund.
AA: – actually I can’t really think of anything that bad…
CP: How about the rotten meat?
AA: Oh right…
CP: lol
AA: Well, all the meat that we used for the effects was actually stored in the same freezer you see in the scene... but somewhere along the line it stopped working, and we’d forgotten to take the meat out. Before long you could really smell the stench of death down there.
LNHH: The fact that this is a horror movie do you guys like to watch horror movies or just prefer to make them and act in them?
CP: I’ve always been a fan – I think we love horror movies the same way little kids scream with delight as they go down the slide - even though they might be scared the first time. Three movies that messed with my head as a kid in particular: “The Thing” (1982), “Poltergeist”, and the original “Nightmare on Elm Street”. My old sketchbooks from that age are filled with gory scenes from those movies – my poor mom must’ve been worried...
AA: I’m not specifically a horror fan but I’ve always enjoyed the genre. From an actor’s point of view it definitely “fun” to work in horror, and it’s not like I’m up for any Johnny Depp roles or anything. Horror embraces actors who don’t have “leading man” looks.
LNHH: You guys have had an amazing amount of success on this film how was the first showing for you guys?
CP: Well the success is still yet to come I hope – financially anyhow. How was our world premiere you ask? Well, we got off the plane for our “World Premiere” to find us incorrectly listed in the main festival program for 10:00 AM instead of PM! We rallied our spirits and the four of us hustled our asses off handing out postcards with the correct time for over a week, and when the night of the premiere finally came around we were delighted to see a huge line up at the theater! Our efforts paid off!!!

Unfortunately that theater was also premiering 300 on the same night. We played to about 53 people including our parents – I distinctly remember a fellow filmmaker from New York who fell asleep and snored like a chainsaw with his head back and mouth wide open – good times…
Another festival had a packed house full of people laughing and loving the movie – with 10 minutes to go the film suddenly stops and begins to rewind… The projectionist gets the film back to the same place – it stops again. Basically the guy who had transferred the festival’s program tape had fallen asleep and not seen that the tape ran out before Long Pigs finished, With no other playable format the lights just came up and the crowd was apologetically asked to leave.
LNHH: What is in store for Long Pigs and both you and Anthony?
CP: Hopefully Long Pigs 2! And of course, scores of wild groupies for Anthony!
AA: Yeah!
LNHH: Any last words for our readers?
AA: Thanks and keep sending in those recipes!
CP: I never thought in a million years we’d see Long Pigs being accepted by the horror community like it has been – so thank goodness for horror fans and thanks for the interest! Huge thanks to Late Night at the Horror Hotel for all their support!! Check these guys out!

Pascal Laugier’s film about abuse, torment, victims and of course, martyrdom is one of my favorite DVDs in m 400+ collection. I love everything about this film from start to finish. Laugier’s vision is tragic, gore-filled, and deeper than any mainstream horror film in recent memory.
When I first watched Martyrs, it was when it was first released, and I found it hidden in a local Blockbuster. I had heard of how intense, violent, and gory the film was and I was just really getting into French horror films. So, out of curiosity, I grabbed the DVD, paid the rental fee and went back to my apartment to venture deep into Hell on celluloid.
At first, the film feels like another Hostel, Saw, or any torture porn films that have seen a spike in acceptance in the past few years. I saw acceptance because back when films like I Spit on Your Grave came out, they were simply considered video nasties. Now, these films are accepting horror film awards worldwide, but that’s a whole other discussion all together.
Pascal does a great job using intrusive filmmaking to keep an uneasy feeling constant throughout the film. Combining these tight, relentless frames with great art direction and a dark color scheme creates an atmosphere that truly gets under your skin. The best part about this entire film is Pascal’s boldness and no-holds barred attitude. He doesn’t care if you don’t like it, and that makes him powerful outside of the “studio” system.
The acting in Martyrs is excellent, as the actors and actresses truly live their roles. The intensity felt in the two lead actresses performances brings an element of drama to the film that most horror films have never even touched upon. I look forward to seeing more work from the leads.
Of course, the film will feed any gore-hound, and shock any pregnant mother. It’s level of violence isn’t something we have quite grasped upon here in America. Sure, we have a lot of very violent films and TV shows, but nothing really touches the reality of Martyrs, and not many American directors have the balls to take their films over the line. The subject matter of the film adds to the intensity of the violence in the film, along with amazing special effects.
When it comes down to it, Martyrs is a smart, depressing, gloomy, and sadistic film that wields great acting, directing, and a great screenplay. I thought about the film for days after I first watched it, and after it finally sank in, and I finally understood my own personal meaning behind the film, I bought it. It’s not for the feint of heart nor is it for the youth, but this is a great example of filmmaking and once again proves that horror films CAN be GOOD films.

Once again - THIS WEEKEND - Mr. Hush Weekend of Fear
What a weekend....we finished shooting with the Chainsaw Sally, Miss Busy Bee and JimmyO on Saturday night and I think we were all extremely excited on what we had created. Let's give you guys a synopsis of what the story is about and what film we are going to show:
The feature of the evening for this episode will be JimmyO's Silver Scream, if you are unfamiliar with this title, it was an original musical stage show that became a film. Silver Scream pays homage to classic horror and fits our show perfect. Keep in mind, this will be a cut version, we highly recommend visiting www.forbiddenpictures.net and pick up the complete film.
Synopsis for the show : John (John Cannon) is frantic about his upcoming evaluation from Hotel Management. Mr. Natas (Jimmy O Burril) is due in any minute and John has given Pigamortis (Sal Valente) and Dimension (Rob Dimension) the week off because they are always causing trouble.
The hotel has a special guest, Librarian Sally (April Monique Burril) having a temporary lay over at the hotel, but things don't seem how they are. Dimension and Pigamortis make a surprise appearance, to try to help John out.....this is where things go down hill. Dimension and Pigamortis figure out that the Librarian is really Chainsaw Sally along with Miss Busy Bee (Nicolette La Faye) and must now get rid of her, until Sally threatens them...with DEATH!!!
Will John be driven crazy with this madness? Will Mr. Natas get a glimpse of what is really going on? Will Chainsaw Sally and Miss Busy Bee KILL Dimension and Pigamortis???
Late Night at the Horror Hotel gets "Chainsaw Sally CRAZY!!!"
Easily, the blueprint for Independent success, with the most notorious, popular Horror show on the Internet, Chainsaw Sally comes to the Late Night set this Saturday for our special "Season's Beating's" holiday show.
April Monique Burril, aka.Chainsaw Sally, along with Independent Writer and Director (Chainsaw Sally, the Good Sisters and Silver Scream) JimmyO Burril plus a few surprises are doing us a great favor by appearing on our show. This show, unlike the rest will be available on the net once completed. We may also make this show available for download, plus the feature film we are showing is JimmyO's musical "Silver Scream".
Rob Dimension had this to say "Usually our show is more of a PG type show, but this one....gonna be a little more gritty." John Cannon added, "There is a good chance many of our TV stations will not carry this one....It might be an example of our growth or an example of our demise." Sounds like a blast to me, we can't wait to see the final product.
This is a great opportunity for the producers, Sickening Thud to show their talents also. Pigamortis Wrex was quick to speak, "Look, we are here to entertain....We are hoping to introduce special new character as well, we are really starting to hit our stride. The show is growing, the site is growing and we are expanding...it's gonna be a great ride!"

Starting in November, Late Night at the Horror Hotel, is looking to provide more info, news, reviews and articles about Horror and The Paranormal. This is where you come in...are you a writer? Are you interested in writing for us?
Our site is growing everyday, our fanbase is always climbing and our views on this site are always getting higher. We want to get more information about Horror and the Paranormal out there for the people to read and learn about.
Horror - We are looking for 2-3 Horror writers. Topics can be reviews, news, interviews or any general Horror related topics. We will ask that you submit 2 articles per week, or more if you want, and these will be placed up on our site. April Monique Burril and JimmyO Burril have said they would "LOVE to Slay Late Night!!!" This past Saturday, a deal was struck and we are extremely excited to have such a fantastic team of the Horror genre on board. As of today, it is for only 1 episode, but the door will ALWAYS be open for more!!
So, you might ask yourself...who is Chainsaw Sally? First, I would ask what rock you lived under (then might beat you with it), then I would proceed to tell you that Chainsaw Sally (Burril), is an iconic underground sensation within the Horror community for the past several years. Mixing Humor with Gore, Chainsaw Sally has been featured in Film, TV and TONS of magazines and websites around the World. Most recently, the 1st season of The Chainsaw Sally Show was picked up by Troma Films and is set for release September 28th!!!

At MonsterMania 16 in Hunt Valley Maryland, Rob Dimension who had just come off stage, hosting the Q&A with Robert Englund was bouncing off the walls with excitement when asked about Chainsaw Sally, saying "We are so friggin excited, seriously. We had been talking with them for a while and it is finally coming together. We are going to follow their formula, April will be Chainsaw Sally on our show...as many know, our show has a sub-plot on every episode. While we do host a film, we plan on going above and beyond for this one!!"
Rob Dimension who has over 10 years of being involved in Pro Wrestling as a manager, noteably as Steve Corino's sidekick in recent years, plus co-host of the popular Horror Hosting show, Late Night at the Horror Hotel and recently finished filming his co-staring role on the Horror/Comedy film, Demon Hunters, made it a point to say "I always laugh when they announce me as a guest. I can hear the crickets and moans as people see my name." It was also announced that Dimension will have a role in the upcoming season of the popular, Cult favorite, Chainsaw Sally show.
